Tug's Story...
Intake: March 26, 2013

Tug is a good looking, friendly, happy pup! He was found, abandoned, along with his brother. Luckily, these guys were picked up by a caring person & cared for until we had room at PVHS. Tug will grow up to be a large dog & will require a home that will provide him with the necessary socialization, training, physical exercise & mental stimulation he needs to live a happy, healthy life! Tug should train easily with a patient & consistent owner. Remember that puppies are a lot of work & they do grow up! Make sure that you are prepared to make a lifelong commitment to Tug before you consider adopting him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tug, a Morden Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Morden, or seeking a Husky puppy from a breeder in Morden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morden paves the way for another one to be saved.
