Josie's Story...
Josie is a Red and Rust color Dobie about 7-8 yrs old. Josie is very friendly with everyone she meets and loves attention. She did fine with the other dogs in her foster home for a few months then turned on one of the other female Dobies, because of this we are suggesting a home without other dogs. She has been fine with the household cat.Josie loves her squeaky toys and is ready to play with humans at any time. She is an athletic girl, she can clear a fence if she wants to but loves her foster home and has stayed put. Josie, like a lot of red Dobies is on thyroid meds every day. The medication is inexpensive and has improved her coat quite a bit.

Josie is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. This is one sweet girl. We do not know if Josie was raised with children so very small children may not be best. She is so sweet to everyone so older children with dog experience would be just fine. Josie has a lot of living to do and needs her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a Albuquerque Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Albuquerque, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Albuquerque.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albuquerque already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albuquerque breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albuquerque paves the way for another one to be saved.
