Alexander's Story...
Alexander is our newest lover boy at the Coronado Animal Care Facility!

Alexander was found as a stray in Coronado and was a bit nervous at first. But now that he has settled in, his goal is to please everyone that crosses his path.

This guy will make a great family dog and loves gentle touches and reassuring words of praise. Alexander is very easy going to the point of being totally submissive at times. A quieter more settled home would suit him best.

In addition to his sparkling personality, Alexander’s good looks are defined by his gorgeous coat - tan with darker highlights on his face, head and back.

Please visit Alexander at the Coronado Animal Care Facility and see for yourself what a fine companion he can be. The Coronado Animal Care Facility, located at 1395 First Street, is open every day between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (except holidays).

If you are interested in adopting Alexander, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Dog Adoption Counselor.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexander, a Coronado Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Coronado, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Coronado.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coronado already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coronado breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coronado paves the way for another one to be saved.
