You may meet and apply to adopt Autumn at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, JUNE 22nd from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in COSTA MESA. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Autumn is a female Yorkshire Terrier approximately 3 years of age. She is a nice sturdy size, weighing in at 14 pounds. Autumn has a very silky, soft, fine coat of fur that is long and flowing. She has been professionally groomed and currently has a shorter haircut. Autumn's fur is non-shedding and hypoallergenic. She is a lovely, dusky mix of silver, tan, and cream colors. Autumn is a quiet, mellow, demure young dog. She loves attention and blossoms with much tail wagging and happy smiling when you stroke her head and speak softly to her. Autumn is very polite and will remain reserved until she gets to know you. She is excellent when company comes over because she stays in the background observing the activity until invited over. Autumn is great with other dogs and likes canine companionship. She is a social little girl and readily wags her tail when meeting a new doggie friend. Autumn does well inside the house and enjoys creature comforts. She will easily curl up in a dog bed and keep you company, or go for a relaxing stroll around the neighborhood. She will thrive in a home where she can be pampered and fussed over. Autumn rides nicely in the car and enjoys going places with her people. She will most likely bond very closely and very loyally. Autumn was brought in stray to a very high-kill shelter, matted, sad and skinny. She is doing so much better now, very healthy and a lot happier. This gorgeous young dog is a head turner and is ready for her new forever home today!

Autumn’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Autumn is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Carol and is ready for her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

AUTUMN, a Newport Beach Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
