Bree and Siblings's Story...
Meet Bree, Cyrano, Paris and Nugget. These fun cats are about 10 months old and have been at the Sanctuary since November. Bree (SH Tortishell female) and her three siblings (2 male and 1 female SH black) were very scared and wary of people when they came to us. Though they like people's presence and a little bit of attention, they are still shy and would need a patient family to work with them. This foursome is very playful and we think they would do best in a safe indoor/outdoor home where they have some room to romp together. This little family is extremely bonded and need to go home together and be kept indoors until they are used to their new home. All are spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bree and Siblings, a Colville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
