Cody's Story...
Cody-Corgi male 1 yr (Oct 2013)

Cody is about as cute as they come. This approximately 4 mo. old puppy was waiting for a Rescue in a high kill rural shelter. It was thought that someone would be coming for Cody but in the end he was still there, so into the Rescue fold he came! He's been a fun little guy to have in the foster home. Good with other dogs, he's your typical puppy. Cody's adoption fee is $300 to help cover the medical expenses of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Germantown Corgi puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Corgi puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
