Mason's Story...
Mason-Black Lab puppy, 4-5 mo. (March 2013)

Mason was noticed by the Rescue volunteer as they went through the Shelter and saw him scared and alone. He's been taken to a foster home where he's settling in. He's a cuddly puppy, already getting good sized but still able to climb on your lap and snuggle. Mason will be a big boy when he's all grown up. He's about 4-5 months now, later March 2013. His adoption fee
is $300 to help cover the medical expenses of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mason, a Germantown Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
