Sasha's Story...
Meet Sasha! She's a little over a year old. Sasha was abandoned by her owner for almost a week in the apartment. Neighbors didn't know she was there until Sasha realized no one was coming back for her and started barking frantically alerting neighbors to call the police. Sasha was so happy to see them coming through the window all she wanted to do was lick their faces and get out. She does very well with other dogs and is a very happy social energetic little girl. She does need some work on leash walking but loves the attention so very willing to learn.

Act quickly to adopt Sasha. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in West Warwick, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in West Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
