Peanut's Story...
Hi! My name is Peanut and I am an adorable 4 yr. old Chihuahua/Terrier mix! I am a total sweet and social love bug and adore everyone I meet. I was left at a very scary place called the shelter with my daughter Gwen, and I was so scared that I clung to the back of the cage and was told that I was unadoptable and not social because I was so scared. Well, as soon as I was taken from that scary place by Breeder Release Adoption Service, I covered my foster Mom in kisses, cuddled in her lap and showed that shelter just how social and loveable I really am!

Peanut loves other dogs and cats too, but most of all she loves her people and will make one lucky person a constant companion. Because she is such a social lap baby, she would do best in a home with someone who is there most of the time to give her all the love she has missed out on. Peanut is doing very well with her potty training, loves to sleep snuggled in bed with her foster parents and is very loyal and easy going. If you are looking for an adorable constant companion who would love to go everywhere with you, please ask for Peanut on your application to

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Gilbert Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
