found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Emma LOVES children of all ages, gets along well with other dogs, but needs to go to a NO CATS family.
She likes riding in the car, and soaks up affection (which she loves to return, too).
As is all too common for boxers, Emma has a lump on her left front ankle area; none of the local vets have the proper diagnostic equipment to really determine the cause of the lump, so we are looking into other alternatives outside the county. In the meantime, Emma is being placed "as is" but if you take her to your vet and they determine the lump is serious, we will of course take her back.
Emma is housetrained and knows "sit" - she also loves treats, and should be fairly easy to train for other commands. She is pretty good on leash, too! She does sometimes jump up a bit when she is excited, but so far, that seems to be about the only bad habit we've found.
She should fit in well with just about any sort of home or family, with a fairly easy adjustment period. According to her former owner, she is a big frisbee fan... haven't seen that from her yet, but hope she will become more and more playful as she adjusts to being at the shelter. Her sunny disposition and goofy, playful side can't fail to bring a smile to your day!
Emma comes with a 30-day money-back trial adoption period.
Spay/neuter, worming, microchip and all age-appropriate shots are always completed before placement, and are included in the adoption fee (suggested minimum $75; more gratefully accepted!)
Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your payment to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
