Pixie's Story...
Miss Pixie came to us from a puppymill raid, but she is not your normal puppymill dog! Pixie has been with our trainer for quite a while, and is finally ready for her forever home. Pixie is good with all people, very happy, loving, and well socialized. She is good with all dogs, big and small, and is very good at reading social cues between dogs. She is actually frequently used in the rehabilitation process of other dogs in the program! Shes an amazing little girl, housebroken, crate trained, and knows commands. She is 4-5 years old.

Pixie is spayed, UTD on shots, HW neg, microchipped, and fully vetted. Her adoption fee is $230. Fill out an application at www.fidosrescueandrehab.petfinder.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie, a Lancaster Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Lancaster, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Lancaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lancaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lancaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lancaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
