Lacy's Story...
Playful. Smart. Driven.
Lacy is a 7 month old female husky mix that came from a kill shelter. Lacy was overwhelmed and scared in the shelter, as well as skinny and not well taken care of. Lacy was not considered adoptable due to her condition and had to be sent to rescue. Something about this girl caught our eye, so we were happy to help her out.
Lacy is smart and VERY food motivated. She is easy to work with, already knows sit, dance, and shake. Down is a work in progress. She is crate trained and working on her housebreaking. Videos of her training progress to come soon.
Lacy is ready for a forever home now, she is spayed, UTD on shots, HW neg, microchipped, fully vetted, and working on her training. She is a fast learner and good with other dogs and cats. Her adoption fee is $200

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacy, a Lancaster Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Lancaster, or seeking a Husky puppy from a breeder in Lancaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lancaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lancaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lancaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
