My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Whoo-whoo, whoo-whoo .... Hedwig, that’s whoo! And despite looking like a great horned owl, Hedwig does actually say meow :)

If you like owls or have a fondness for all things Harry Potter, you simply must come and meet Hedwig :) You’ll immediately be struck by his owl-like eye and ears. Unlike an owl, Hedwig is extremely friendly. He has captivated the volunteers at Katie's Place, they are completely in love. Hedwig likes to play and has been seen rolling around with a catnip toy and tossing it in the air. Volunteers have commented that he acts more like a dog than a cat - he constantly wags his tail when he's happy (which is practically always!), he wriggles and rolls around when he gets excited and because he has short legs, the technique he uses for hopping up on things is well, not very cat-like :)

Hedwig unfortunately lost one of his gorgeous eyes in an accident but it doesn't seem to have affected him in any way - it certainly hasn't dampened his goofball spirit. You simply must come and meet Hedwig - you will be delighted by this wide-eyed boy in so many ways.
