Brooke's Story...
Brooke is a 5-6 month old lab mix puppy. She is a very loving, active, energetic dog who needs a family that can look after her active ways. Brooke is shy at first, but comes out of her shell. She plays well with our dogs and is not sure about cats. She loves to chase the ball and play in the yard. She is learning to sit and lie down. Brooke is doing pretty well in the crate in her foster home. She will bark for a few minutes at night but settles down and is quiet the rest of the night. Her foster says she is a sweet dog and she will make someone a great pet. If you are ready with the time, commitment, and patience to raise young dog, check out Brooke! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brooke, a Richmond Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
