I am 10 years old. I weigh 13.6 lbs. I AM CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE AT THE DOG HOUSE OF BARRINGTON. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested and started on Tri Heart Plus & Vectra 3D. We do not have a history on most of the animals up for adoption since we rescue them Animal Control and they are usually labeled as strays. We can only tell you their behavior since they have been with us. We do not know the specific breeds of each dog. Once again, because they are rescued we have to guess as to what they MAY be a mix of.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mitch, a Huntley Maltese/Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Bichon Frise for sale in Huntley, or seeking a Maltese/Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Huntley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Bichon Frise breeders who help with Maltese/Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntley paves the way for another one to be saved.
