Magdalene "Maggie"'s Story...
Hi, I'm Maggie. My foster mom said I am a little, sweet, precious, calm, 4-6 yr old, 8 lb chihuahua. I am as far as I can be from your stereotypical chihuahua. I love nothing more than cuddling and being with people. I really enjoy sleeping on the foot of the bed and snuggling under a blankie when it is chilly. I am the perfect lap dog. I like being with other dogs and cats but that isn't a requirement for a new home. Small children make me nervous so I would like to only live with children over 5. I am 100% potty pad trained buy also enjoy going outside for walks. I thoroughly enjoy riding in the car and would be a fabulous travel companion. I am spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and I just had a full dental cleaning (and lost a few teeth but it didn't slow me down). Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magdalene "Maggie", a Atlanta Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
