Emmit-@DogGoneSmart/Norwalk's Story...
Emmit was in horrible condition when we rescued him. He had been adopted as a puppy and the owners totally neglected him. He is fully recovered and is a beautiful dog once again. He has ths softest fur!! He is approx 2.5 yrs old as of 1/1/14, he looks like a golden retriever mix with a gorgeous red/brown with hints of black, he is a really nice dog and so happy, he loves to eat, he was all skin and bones when we rescued him and he loves treats, he gets along great with the other dogs and loves to run and play, he has a very sweet disposition, he seems to be fairly well house trained , he will be your best friend for life, He was featured on this news clip :

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emmit-@DogGoneSmart/Norwalk, a Norwalk Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
