Hope's Story...
My foster mom says I am a very special girl. I had a very hard life before she rescued me from animal control. She took me to special doctors for surgery (FHO) on my broken hip. I can now run and play like a real dog but will always have a limp. . LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY

I am 18 months - 2 years old and 39 lbs. I am what people call a "pocket pittie". Honestly, I think I am smaller than that because I am the perfect lap dog. I get along well with submissive dogs (I am not dominant and don't like being dominated, it scares me). Calico/torti cats scare the bejesus out of me but other ones are fine. I LOVE sleeping in the people bed and won't move all night long. I am housebroken and crate trained. My hobbies include riding in the car, watching cartoons, and being the best lap warmer ever. I give very sweet kisses. You can read more about me at www.facebook.com/fightingfordawn. I am apparently quite a celebrity.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hope, a Atlanta American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
