Abby (V)'s Story...
ABBY REQUIRES A SECURELY FENCED YARD.

Abby came back to rescue when her mom could no longer care for her. She is up to date on vaccinations, micro chipped, spayed and house trained. Her birthday is 3/20/04 so she is mature enough to make a great companion. Would you be the one to give her a new home. Email us if you would like more information.

We do require securely fenced yards, Invisible fences are not acceptable. We will call your vet and look at your fence to see if it is adequate for Abby.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby (V), a Mission Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Mission, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Mission.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission paves the way for another one to be saved.
