Honey Bee is a cute ginger cat with a quirky and affectionate personality to boot. She is a little timid at first, but once she knows you and settles in, she's very affectionate and loves asking for butt scratches by vibrating her tail as she prances by. You may not see her much during the day time because she loves to nap in a quiet nook, but in the early evening (or if you shake some treats), she's out and about the house or gazing out the window. Her favourite toys are a piece of string on a stick, which she can't resist pouncing on and chasing if you pull it around the room for her, and her catnip mouse. Just like her housemate Nevis, she is very well behaved and quiet, only letting out the most adorable purr-meow when she's very happy or excited. Honey Bee and Nevis are bonded and must be adopted together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey Bee, a Vancouver Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
