Berlioz's Story...
Berlioz is a clever cat- he snuck in the door of one of our foster homes, knowing a good thing when he saw it! This long haired black boy is about 1.5 years old and super affectionate and wants to be around wherever his people are. He can be a little chatty if he wants your attention, but he doesn't really meow too much- it's more of a chirping noise. He will gently stretch up your leg when he wants to be picked up. He has a good purr. Berlioz isn't super demanding though- he likes to lounge around just so he can be around you. Basically he loves to be loved but he isn't over bearing.

Berlioz is named after one of the kittens from Disney's the Aristocats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Berlioz, a Bentonville Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Bentonville, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Bentonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bentonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bentonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bentonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
