Mia's Story...
My story: Hi, my name is Mia and my story is sad. I was abandoned by my owners to fend for myself. While trying to make it on my own I wandered into the streets of Bayshore Blvd. and got hit by a car. Luckily for me they stopped and took me to the vet. After they patched me up they sent me to Animal Services where I had only days to live. On my last day of life St. Francis saw my sad picture and came to my rescue! Now I'm hoping that someone will see me and give me a real FOREVER home. I'm a sweet loving girl and I love to snuggle! My foster mommy can't believe anyone would let me go. Won't you be my HERO!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Tampa Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
