Mr Milo's Story...
Milo and his identical sister Millie-Mae are cute sweet big babies. At just about 3 months they weigh 15 lbs each. They were abandoned as strays before we got them at the rescue. They're friendly, happy, love other dogs and especially people too! They are spayed and neutered and ready to come to their new homes. We are guessing on the breed but we think golden retriever/flat coat retriever is our best guess at this point. Regardless, they're cute little happy balls of fur waiting for a great forever home! Please, you MUSTpaste following link into your browser BEFORE emailing for further information. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr Milo, a Brattleboro Golden Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
