Magoo's Story...
I am Magoo. I am a 7 week old Rottie mix and I weigh 10 pounds. I'm getting bigger and strong every day though, and I have a feeling I will be really big because my legs are long for being such a young dog. My favorite thing to do is lay in my crate in the middle of warm blankets. When I'm not laying on blankets, I love to lay on my foster mom and lick her nose. I must have had a lot of siblings because my puppy bit inhibition is really good and I don't nip like some pups. I seem to like other dogs because I live with 2 in my foster home and the big one who looks like me keeps hanging out at my crate and I don't want him to go away. I haven't really found my bark yet, but I know I will in time. When I need to go #2, I start to whine and walk in circles, so I know I will be easy to house train.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magoo, a Alpharetta Rottweiler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Rottweiler puppy from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
