Collin's Story...
Collin is a sweet SWEET 10+ year old Yorkie. Collin is house broken, laid back and super loving. Collin is still a bit unsure about going down the stairs, and is still learning how to do this safely. He seems used to living with cats but still likes to give them a run for their money (if they are willing to take the bait and run)! He gets along with other dogs, enjoys eating, car rides, roaming the yard, and cuddling in the evening. Collin is a little "velcro" type Yorkie and follows us from room to room. He is an affectionate lap dog who wants to be your constant companion. Collin would be fine as an only dog or with an additional dog but needs a home with a someone who can spend lots of time with him. If you are looking for a little faithful, loving buddy, then Collin is definitely the boy for you!

For additional information, please email info@youluckydogrescue.org. Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Collin, a Alpharetta Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
