Camry's Story...
Camry is a fun dog with lots of energy! We think she is about 1 year old. Camry is trained on a gentle leader head halter. Gentle leaders are not a muzzle, the dog can still open their mouth to pant, drink water or catch a tennis ball. This gentle leader is used at our shelter to help train our dogs to walk on a leash with out pulling and is a great training tool that is included in our adoption of this pet! To meet Camry in person please stop by the shelter on Tuesday or Saturday during our normal business hours. Tuesday or Saturday doesn't work for you? To meet the animals any day of the week please call for an appointment and the staff will be happy to set you up with a date and time to visit us! To make an adoption appointment we require that you submit an adoption application for pre-approval, to download an application please visit our website at www.chippewahumane.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Camry, a Chippewa Falls American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Chippewa Falls, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Chippewa Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chippewa Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chippewa Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chippewa Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
