Truffle's Story...
Sweet TRUFFLE... more addicting than chocolate. Have you ever seen such a face? This perfect 9 week old fluff ball is being called Chewy (short for Chewbacca) by her foster mom because she is expected to be a very LARGE sized girl when she is grown. She is doing great with her potty training for a pup her age and is adored by everyone that she meets. She is crate trained and rides well in the car. She hates to be in the exercise pen though because she can't stand to be away from her people when there is action going on. Even so, she is independent and not constantly underfoot like some. She is great with other dogs and ignores cats. She will be spayed and microchipped and be ready to go to her forever home after the 19th of april. Truffle is being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama but is able to be adopted in surrounding states if you are willing to travel. We are taking applications now for this sweet baby and hoping to find her perfect match. For information on adopting and to fill out an application please email us at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Truffle, a Marietta Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
