Milo's Story...
Hi, my name is Milo and I was adopted with my bestest buddy Shelby and now returned to the shelter because my new owners cat didn't like me. I'm a very happy and loveable little guy! I have the cutest most waggley tail! I'm about 2 months old and 11lbs. I'm working really hard on housetraining and I'm already crate trained! I know a few basic commands and I walk nicely on a leash! I'm said to get along with kids and other dogs! As part of a commitment to reducing pet overpopulation, I will be adopted out on a neuter contract which includes a deposit that will be refunded when you provide proof that I have been altered, which MUST be done by the time I'm 6 months old!!! If you are interested in providing a loving responsible forever home and you have the time to properly train, socialize and love a sweet and happy little boy like me, please contact the shelter for more information and don't forget to include my ID number!

ALL ANIMALS MUST BE ALTERED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ADOPTION OR BY SIX MONTHS OF AGE!!!

Act quickly to adopt Milo. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Ladysmith Hound (Unknown Type)/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Ladysmith, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy from a breeder in Ladysmith.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ladysmith already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ladysmith breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ladysmith paves the way for another one to be saved.
