The first pic of Monroe is the one we received. She was posted on somebodys facebook page for free :( She was being held by a breeder, locked in a dark garage and we really had to pull it off to free her. When our volunteer pulled up in the hood she could here her crying. She is around 12 months old. Has already had alitter of puppies. Her ears have completely cut off :( Once we got her away and safe, she is the HAPPIEST, FRIENDLIEST DOG EVER. She is still learning to feel safe. She has never been in a house or experienced any type of love. She has met many people and awesome with them all. She is great with all dogs, small 2 large and male or female. She is great on a leash. She is not good w cats but had a big bird bite her on the nose. We know there is that special home out there for her. 4/3/13 her life began. She has been spayed, chipped, utd shots/rabies. Its going to be a slow process to understand she deserves love, but WE will never let her be in bad hands again. HOH Loves her. Meet Monroe !

Rescue Group Info...
Thousands of years ago, man domesticated dogs to be our protectors, hunters, herders, guardians, but most of all, our companions. Now, over 4 MILLION Dogs are killed each year. As a result, HOH is dedicated to spaying and neutering of all pets to help end the pet overpopulation epidemic.
Why Should your pet be spayed or neutered?
Spaying and neutering helps dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives.
Spaying and neutering can eliminate or reduce the incidence of a number of health problems that can be very difficult or expensive to treat.
Spaying eliminates the possibility of uterine or ovarian cancer and greatly reduces the incidence of breast cancer, particularly when your pet is spayed before her first estrous cycle.
Neutering eliminates testicular cancer and decreases the incidence of prostate disease.
