Cierra's Story...
"Hi! My name is Cierra and I am about 1 ½ years old. That is a great age because I am past all that puppy stuff of chewing and potty training but still very playful and willing to learn! I am a chi mixed with ?? and I weigh around 8 or 9 pounds. I am spayed, microchipped and have had all of my shots and I am looking for my forever home. If you are looking for a loving, friendly and loyal dog who loves to cuddle and hang out with you, then I am your girl! My foster parents think that I am just awesome and I have to agree! I get along with other dogs, cats, children and anyone who crosses my path. I sleep in a crate at night without a peep but I do love to sleep with my humans too. I am doggy door trained and so far have had no accidents in the house! My foster family lets me hang out inside when they go to work and I find a comfortable blankie on the couch and hang out there or go outside and sunbathe too. I enjoy going for walks and to the doggie park and I do fantastic walking on the leash. My foster mom thinks that the family who adopts me is going to be very, very lucky so if you are interested in me, please contact her for more information and we can even set up a meet and greet at Tempe PetSmart if you’d like." I currently live in South Chandler. My adoption fee is $200 and I have been spayed and I am up to date on my shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cierra, a Mesa Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
