Ruff Ruff! My name is Rocky
|Breed:||Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog Mix||Color:||Brown/Chocolate||Age:||Senior|
|Size:||Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)||Sex:||Male||ID#:||1856|
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Adorable Rocky is probably a Sheltie mix but in a small smooth collie size. He was given to a shelter in San Diego when his owner died, and the man's son didn't know his age so guessed him at 12. We think he is younger as he is very spry and jumps in an out of vehicles for his car rides. He is in a foster home with other Collies and is an easy keeper. He's good with dogs, kids, is housebroken, and ready for a home where he can give out the love he likes to bestow on his people. He's such a cutie!

Rescue Group Info...
Southland Collie Rescue, Inc. (SCR), a non-profit corporation located in the Southern California area, coordinates for several Collie Rescues in the Southland. All of our Collie Rescues find homes for purebred Collies and, when possible, Collie mixes from shelters, from people who have taken in strays, and from owners who can no longer care for their Collie. We foster our rescued Collies in private homes throughout Los Angeles and adjacent counties.
Adoptions ONLY in Southern California
All of our collies are healthy, altered and current on their vaccinations prior to placement. An application and home visit are required prior to adoption. An adoption donation is requested to cover costs of rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing collies.
