Zoe's Story...
The first step in our adoption process is an application, which you can submit online at www.littlebitsrescue.org It does not obligate you in any way, but we do not arrange meetings or make telephone contact until we have one.

Zoe is a beautiful little cream colored toy poodle. She is 7 years old and weighs 8 pounds. Zoe was originally used as a breeder and has some trust issues, but she wants very badly to be friends. She does give kisses and LOVES to sleep under the covers in the big bed. She enjoys being outside in the sunshine, and she is not a barker. She appears to be housetrained, although all dogs will have accidents in a new environment, and we never guarantee housetraining. Zoe has been spayed, is up to date on her immunizations, heartworm negative and on preventative. She will need an adult only home with no frequently visiting children. She would do better in a home where someone is home with her during the day, at least part time. Zoe’s adoption donation is $150, and she is being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama. We do approve out of state adoptions, but you must be willing to drive to the foster home to “fetch” your new family member. We do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting this sweet baby, the first step is to submit an APPLICATION.

We do not place any dog in a home with "invisible" or underground fencing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoe, a Mooy Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) for sale in Mooy, or seeking a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog from a breeder in Mooy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mooy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mooy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) breeders who help with Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mooy paves the way for another one to be saved.
