Maggie Mae's Story...
Hi, my name is Maggie Mae and I was born in 2000. I came to AZCR from a puppy mill out of state, where all I did was have puppies in a very small wire cage. I am on the larger side and I walk slow on the leash. I love to go for car rides in a crate. I get so excited that I just bounce around. I have some issues that the vet is trying figure out at this time. So currently, Im scheduled for tests. My bed time is when the sun goes down. I like to sleep in bed with you. I do not use doggie steps at all they scare me. So, I do cry when I need down out of bed to get a drink or go potty. Please email Joyce (at jmercer8780@gmail.com) for information on how to adopt Maggie Mae.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie Mae, a Mesa Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
