Annie's Story...
Annie is sweet girl, bouncy and playful!.

Annie was rescued from the parking lot of a high kill facility. She had been adopted earlier in t
he day and the "adopter" was bringing her back! A rescuer was in the parking lot and knew that this was a certain death sentence for Annie and never let her go back in the door of the facility. The lady was bringing Annie back for chasing cats and chickens! (Not necessarily hurting them, just chasing them)

Now Annie lives with her loving foster where she has a Carolina Dog and a grouchy senior poodle to play with. She loves them both!

Annie is 2 years old, housetrained, crate trained, heartworm negative and on preventatives, up to date on shots.

Annie is just an all around great family dog who needs an active family to play with!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Carlisle Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
