Westley's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Westley's Story...
Westley was rescued from the city streets with his mom, Minnie. It was obvious that Minnie had had a litter of puppies, but Westley was the only one they could find. Westley is simply the cutest little Chihuahua mix, with his long fur and expressive face!

Westley is tiny now, but he will grow up to a whopping six pounds or so! He will make an excellent companion dog, and will be extremely affectionate and loyal. Westley will enjoy being the center of attention and part of the action! Being a Chihuahua, Westley may fare best in a home without small children, and will benefit from lifelong socialization with dogs and people. Just as being with others is good for humans, it is also good for dogs.

Please meet Westley, and see if you have met your perfect match!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Westley, a Houston Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
