Nikki's Story...
Hi -- my name is NIKKI. I am a 4 year old female lab, spayed and friendly. My special needs is for a little extra TLC as I have some minor, but recurrent, medical probelms -- I am prone to get ear infections, skin rashes and bladder infections. Also, I am little overweight, but hey -- who isn't? I am lovable and take my meds well, I am no trouble that way but the person who adopts me needs to know I may take alittle more work to keep healthy, Will you take care of me? Won't you come and visit me at the Clifton Animal Shelter M-F 6.30-8pm or Sundays 12 noon - 4 pm? Hope to see you soon!

Act quickly to adopt Nikki. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nikki, a Clifton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Clifton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Clifton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clifton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clifton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clifton paves the way for another one to be saved.
