Daisy's Story...
Daisy and Budd (5 months) are sibling kittens who were born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). They're normal kittens in every way except they're wobbly and fall over at times. As a result, they are considered to be special needs kittens and while they get physically stronger as they mature, this condition will be with them their entire lives; it requires no medication. Budd has a much more mild condition than his sister Daisy. You can expect to find Budd cuddled next to you when you wake up and don't be surprised when Daisy gets herself onto your lap while you sit down on the couch to watch TV where she'll stay, purring until you need to get up. These are two very determined, playful, lovable, and entertaining kittens. They're a great pair! We would love for them to find a home together so they can keep each other company, continue wrestling and grooming each other.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Alexandria Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Alexandria, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Alexandria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alexandria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alexandria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alexandria paves the way for another one to be saved.
