Jock's Story...
Jock and his siblings were rescued from a high kill shelter after being surrendered by their owner. They'd had a rough start in life and poor Jock had been attacked by something and is missing a couple of toes. (That does not slow him down at all!!)

Now they live with their loving foster where her big dog acts as their surrogate mom. They have their very own little girl to play with as well.

Jock and his siblings love everyone and think that every new adventure is exciting! These are likely to be intelligent, highly trainable pups who will grow up to be awesome dogs.

They are fostered in Tennessee and will be available to travel to their new homes on May 10th after their vetting is complete.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jock, a Carlisle Border Collie/Black and Tan Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Border Collie/Black and Tan Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Border Collie/Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
