Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Aaron and I am a reddish buff, 1 1/2 to 2 year old cocker boy. I was picked up as a stray by animal control here in NC and taken to a shelter. I am a really nice cocker boy, so the shelter staff was quite surprised when no one came looking for me. The shelter staff deals with rescues alot to make sure that we get good homes, and CCR agreed to come and get me and take me into rescue.
I am a very sweet, really friendly guy and heartworm negative. They did find out that I have come to CCR with an ear infection and I am a little underweight at only 19.8 pounds, so I do need to gain a little as I am on the thin side. Soon I will be sent to the groomer and then I will be neutered. They also found out that I have a heart murmur, so this will be checked again in just a few weeks. These nice folks have been so good to me, now I am getting fed properly and I have shown them that I have a great smile! I would love to find a home of my own and someone to love me again. Please consider adopting me. I will make you very happy and I would love to be your new best friend. I cannot be placed into a condo or apartment living situation as I have a fairly loud bark and it might disturb the neighbors.
Aaron came here to rescue from a shelter. We took him to our vet and updated his shots and he was scheduled to be neutered. He is now sick with kennel cough from being at the shelter so he will need some time to get well and then he will be neutered. We will not be able to show him to anyone until he gets well. If you are interested, please be patient and give this sweet little cocker boy some time to get over this awful coughing and sneezing stuff. He is a real sweetheart!
