Milan (courtesy post)'s Info...

Milan (courtesy post)'s Story...
Milan is approximately 5 years old and was rescued from animal control where her owner dumped her wearing a muzzle and prong collar. Her canine parents were working dogs, and we suspect Milan has had some unprofessional guard dog training. Therefore, an experienced German Shepherd owner is needed in her new home. Milan is protective of her foster parents and thinks she is a guard dog. However, she LOVES playing with balls and toys and could play for hours on end! She adores squeaky toys especially. Milan needs a strong pack leader to be her new owner. She loves going for car rides and being active. She has a high energy level and high arousal but responds well to correction and even lives with cats and other dogs in her foster home. Milan does want to be dominant with other dogs but also enjoys playing with them. If interested in adopting, please contact Melissa at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milan (courtesy post), a Scottsdale German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
