Sophie's Story...
Sophie is very sweet and loves to cuddle in your lap. She has a ball that she loves to carry around with her, once she trusts you, she will invite you to play fetch with her. Sophie is blind in her right eye, but that doesn't slow her down. She is shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she will be attached like Velcro to you. Sophie is looking forĀ a quiet home and a best friend.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Haymarket Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Haymarket, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Haymarket.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haymarket already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haymarket breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haymarket paves the way for another one to be saved.
