Scotch's Story...
From his pictures you can see Scotch seems to be asking how a cool guy like him ended up in the shelter. How we wish he could tell us his story. Picked up as a stray he is extremely well behaved. He is potty trained and loves to play. He likes to chase a ball, play with chew toys and is good with adults and children. His coat is soft as chenille and makes you want to cuddle with him all day and night. Come on down and check him out, he is waiting in the small stray room at the shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scotch, a Baton Rouge Tibetan Spaniel/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Tibetan Spaniel/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Tibetan Spaniel/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Tibetan Spaniel/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Tibetan Spaniel/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
