Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Baby and her son, Buddy Bob, were brought into a vet's office by their owners to be euthanized just because they were old. She is 14; he is 12. The vet could not find anything wrong with their health so refused to do it. She had them turn the dogs over to the clinic and she called Boston Terrier Rescue of SC.
They are both in the same foster home and we would like to adopt them together just because they have been together, well, all of Buddy's life. But they don't seem extremely bonded, so we would consider splitting them up.
Baby weighs 14.3 lb. She gets along with other dogs and is a sweet girl. The vet found a heart murmur, but she did not recommend any medication for it. There are no children in the foster home and since she is a senior, it's probably best that she have a quiet senior home. Baby likes to snuggle in the bed into late morning. Both dogs like to sleep in the bed under the covers.
Baby is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, is heartworm negative and is house-trained and crate-trained.
If you are interested in Baby, call her foster mom, Gloria at 706-541-2052. To adopt Baby, go to bostonrescueofsc.org and complete the adoption application. Her adoption fee is $150. Ask about our Seniors 4 Seniors Program.
