Molly's Story...
Hi, there! I'm Molly, a very loving, 2 year old, 10 pound chihuahua. I was a stray at a small Shelter and going to be killed because they were out of space, but luckily these wonderful rescue people saw that I was a very sweet dog and got me out of there. Now I am in a foster home, but my foster mom will be gone for the summer, so if you can't adopt me, but are able to foster, that would be a big help, too!

I am a quiet dog, not a barker, get along well with other dogs and even cats. One of my favorite things is getting my tummy rubbed! I am mostly housetrained, but do have an occasional accident if you forget to let me out, so please be patient with me. I like to cuddle and enjoy being a lap doggy. I am spayed, current on shots and micro chipped so I can never get lost again. My adoption donation is just $150. Please call or text (925) 209-6480 or leave a message at (623) 587-9119 or email diane@tarescue.com for more information and to meet me in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Phoenix Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
