Duffy's Story...
Meet Duffy! He is a studly 2 year old Papillon/Bichon that we took in as an owner surrender. Duffy is a bouncy little guy full of love and spunk but who is also content laying by your feet and relaxing. He is a happy boy even though his family didn’t have time for him anymore. Duffy is working on his house training and has made great progress but will need someone with patience and dedication to continue to work with him until he is fully trained. He is freshly groomed, up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped, and ready to find that special person or family to spend forever with! He is great with other dogs of all sizes. He has not been around cats but is fine with dogs smaller than him so we think he would be fine with cats as well, but as always a proper introduction should be done. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duffy, a Laingsburg Papillon/Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon/Bichon Frise for sale in Laingsburg, or seeking a Papillon/Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Laingsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Laingsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Laingsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon/Bichon Frise breeders who help with Papillon/Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Laingsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
