Tinker & Belle's Story...
Tinker & Belle are siblings who were rescued by A4A after being found being tormented by a group of teens. Both were hand fed/bottle fed by volunteers and are happy, healthy kittens. They are very loving and do well with other cats and dogs. A4A will be covering the cost of their spay/neuter and first vaccinations. Tinker & Belle will do best being adopted together as they have been hand raised together and have a bond- and being both are still small, they will enjoy growing up/socializing in a forever home together. They will be ready for adoption on/after June 1st, 2013. Complete an online application NOW if you are interested in adopting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tinker & Belle, a Xenia Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Xenia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
