Marty Scorsese Too Sweet!'s Story...
Could a cat possibly be sweeter? This guy is such a dude - you think he's a tough guy, with that stocky, muscular little body and wagging tail, but then he's the nicest cat in the world! He literally rolled over onto his back when his rescuers met him on the street. It's so obvious he was abandoned and never really belonged out there - all he wanted was a loving home!

Marty is a chill guy who loves playing or just hanging out with people. His tail wags when he's happy, and he comes when you call his name - there's definitely some dog in this cat! He sleeps on the edge of the bed and just generally adores being around you. What a lover!

Marty is 1 1/2-2 years old, neutered, tested negative for FELV but positive for FIV, is up-to-date on all his shots and ready to be part of a family!

If you would like to meet this fabulous cat, please contact Claire at catskittensnyc@gmail.com or call eves/weekends 718-455-5711.

Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Every dime we take in goes to saving the next sweetie on the street.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marty Scorsese Too Sweet!, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
