Sage's Story...
Allow me to introduce to you this handsome fella going by the name of Sage (A17513944). He’s a young (1-2 yr old) pitbull mix with a lot of love to give! Sage loves to go for walks and is excellent walking with a harness as he barely pulls. He’s a very friendly boy and loves to say hello to everyone that walks by (both canine and human). Sage knows his basic commands and loves a game of fetch with a tennis ball to burn off some energy. He will gladly go over to you for some relaxing snuggle time on your lap if invited! Sage has done really well with car rides and seems to even be housebroken. Don’t miss the opportunity to adopt Sage as your new family member; you will not regret it!

Act quickly to adopt Sage. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue.
