Emmy-Adoption pending's Story...
My name is Emmy. I was left at the shelter & don't know why. I sure do miss my home. I am a bit shy at first & need time to come around, but when I do, I want to be with my person all the time. In your lap, sleeping in bed, anything as long as I am with you. My house training is going very well. I get along with other dogs, but to be honest, I prefer all the attention for myself & would rather be the only house pet. I may only 4 years old and 5 lbs, but you know what they say about us chi-chi's - we are small but mighty. I really want my own home again. Emmy is up to date on all shots, on heart worm preventative, heart worm negative, microchiped, spayed and had a dental. Emmy’s adoption fee is $250.00.WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at aaprescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emmy-Adoption pending, a Bridgeton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Bridgeton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Bridgeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
