A dear friend was in S.C. on a visit when she found an ad in the paper trying to re-home this boy. The folks are moving and could not take him. She knew Arlo deserved a great home, so she contacted me to help find this boy the home he dreams of! Arlo rode with her from SC back home to TN where he is being fostered.
Arlo had been living outside in his previous home. He is 17 pounds and LOVES being inside. He enjoys riding in the car, doing chores with you (he sits waiting patiently tied to a fence post while she does barn chores. He was afraid of her horses. Arlo just loves being with his human. He would rather sit in your lap then play with other dogs, so we feel his perfect home is one where he can be the star.
His foster mom is working on house breaking and he is doing very well. She states he listens and learns very quickly. She said Arlo "gets it"!! He is great on a leash.
Arlo has ignored her cats so far and appears to have no interest in them.
Arlo is neutered, UTD on shots, HW negative and on flea and heartworm preventative.
He will be transported from TN to New England upon adoption. We use Alpha Dog Transport. They charge $125 for their services and will also hand off Arlo's vet records. An adoption fee will also apply.
